So based on all this, the best set of mutations for maximizing Melting's survivability would be Combine this with Boiling Veins and Plutonium Hunger and your survivability is very good with the added advantage of getting as many rads as possible from all the dead stuff on screen you're producing. If you get the Rush Crown and have Second Stomach, all it will take is a single medkit to top you back up and reactivate Strong Spirit. After you've taken a hit Bloodlust only has to activate once to bring you back to full health and reactivate Strong Spirit (this is easy considering the sheer killing power at your disposal when you're playing with Crown of Blood).Įven crazier, however, is what you could potentially do with Strong Spirit and Rhino Skin. Mutations that augment and bolster his active are fairly obvious - Scarier Face, Impact Wrists, and of course Throne Butt - but the coolest strategy I've found to bolster his survival is to combine this insane power to destroy hordes of enemies with Strong Spirit and Bloodlust. And his passive offsets the reduced rads from Crown of Blood so you're getting an insane amount of rads like from before it was nerfed. With more hordes of enemies, it's easier than ever to just right click to win and cackle with glee as the whole screen collapses into chaos. I play as him with Crown of Blood, which sounds a bit unintuitive since he's so fragile, but really it's for the purposes of maximizing his active and passive ability. However, I've recently started playing as Melting and actually have started to like playing as him (I always thought his low health basically made him not worth playing.
